The Athletics Department at New Life Academy is an extension of the classroom. Eighty-one percent of students in grades 5–12 participate in organized sports. Through dedication and teamwork, coaches intentionally teach life lessons that shape students long after graduation. Student-athletes continually discover their God-given gifts and talents, learn to use them in service to their team, and intentionally influence those around them each day.
Training Christ-Centered Leaders
Winning is the goal, but it’s not the ultimate purpose. While victories bring excitement and instill a sense of pride, the journey toward those achievements leaves a lasting
impact. NLA student-athletes graduate with deep, long-lasting friendships and
meaningful memories. Along the way, coaches teach what it means to be a true
champion and prepare student-athletes to grow into lifelong leaders.

Athletic Opportunities – Lower School
Lower School Athletics and Activities provide younger students with opportunities to explore their passions and discover the gifts God has given them at a young age.
Extracurricular programs are an essential part of the educational experience, and expanding these offerings ensures greater access for younger students at NLA.

Junior Eagles
Junior Eagles is a program designed to engage Lower School students in athletic opportunities through NLA. Kindergarten through 5th graders have the opportunity to participate in weekly camps led by NLA coaches and Upper School players. It is a great time to develop skills and build community.
Summer Program
The NLA Summer Program offers a wide range of on-site athletic camps to help young students stay active, sharpen their skills, and continue growing in their God-given gifts.
When I first started, I wasn’t very confident in myself because I didn’t know how to play. After a couple weeks, I got really passionate and I really liked it! It’s a really fun sport once you get the hang of it.
