Kurt and Kathy Nuehring’s two daughters have attended New Life Academy since they were four years old. This past May, their eldest daughter, Emily, has graduated New Life Academy and the Nuehring’s say they have seen Christian education come full circle.
Kurt and Kathy believe that sending Emily and Abby to New Life Academy is an investment in their daughters’ lives. Not only does New Life provide high academic standards and committed teachers and staff, but it also provides a focus on students’ pursuit for a personal relationship with Jesus. Their daughters have been challenged and have excelled both academically and spiritually while attending. In addition, the girls have had the opportunity to know everyone in their class while making some great friends. For these reasons, the Nuehring’s believe that New Life has been a good investment of money and time.
The Nuehring’s believe that one of the best qualities about New Life is that it is a community of families that all have similar mindsets regarding education that supports students and the school to help students reach their full potential. The things that are happening at this school are important, and that is why the Nuehring’s choose to give.
To Kathy, giving in general is a way to demonstrate that you believe something is important and by supporting something that truly matters, one can make a difference.
“We give to New Life because we believe in its mission of educating students with high academic standards and helping them to grow in godly character, and go out into the world to influence others for Christ,” they said.
This family believes that giving to New Life Academy is something of eternal significance that allows them to participate in the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
“We see giving to the school as an investment in the Kingdom of God and in our kids- not just our own children but in all the students that come through the door.”
