Faith-Filled
Weekly Chapel
Since New Life Academy’s opening in 1977, Chapel has been a consistent way to keep Christ at the center of all we do. Student-led worship and engaging speakers create an atmosphere for students to learn more about God while experiencing His presence. Our graduates are equipped with a depth of knowledge about God and a relationship with Him in order to shine as lights in whatever they choose to pursue next.
Academics
As a Christian school, we have the unique privilege to educate students in a Christ-centered environment. Our Bible classes and curriculum are structured to support and encourage the spiritual journey of every student. From Early Ed through Grade 12, students have dedicated time in class to learn more about Jesus. This is central to who we are as a school.
Future-Ready
Discovering Passions
At New Life Academy, we understand and value the unique impact we are able to make in the lives of our students. We strive to create an atmosphere and provide opportunities where students can uncover their God-given talents and passions. Watch the video below to hear a recent graduate who was able to do just that!
Miya, class of 2022, is currently pursuing a degree in Live Music Production at North Central University.
Career Readiness
From Early Ed through Grade 12, students grow in knowledge, creativity, and character. Preparing students for graduation and life after NLA means giving them chances to develop real-world skills through innovative ideas. At NLA, we have been able to successfully do this through our academics, athletics, arts, and other extracurriculars. Our Academic, College, and Career Counseling Office helps to support students by navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges in order to cultivate an environment where every student is able to thrive.
One of the ways we prepare our Upper School students for the future is through an initiative called IMPACT Hour. Students meet weekly within one of four cohorts: Fine Arts, Business, STEM, and Humanitarian. They are advised and mentored by staff and faculty with experience and passion in those areas.
Juniors and Seniors at NLA are encouraged to apply for an internship through our Internship Program. Our strong network of parents, alumni, partners, and community members allows us to pair students with areas of interest. We also have the opportunity to host college representatives and college fairs on campus to provide easy ways for students to discover their next steps.
