Mindy Haukedahl & Melissa Kalinoff
Mindy Haukedal, Director of Academic, College, and Career Counseling, and Melissa Kalinoff, Dean of Students published a journal for teens to navigate negative thoughts and learn how to decipher lies from the truth of God.
Mrs. Haukedahl is a mental health professional and licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. Haukedahl shared, “I witness how damaging negative thoughts can be in the minds of young adults. Many individuals sit and ruminate in lies and they often begin to believe them, which destroys their joy. I wanted to create an opportunity for individuals to write out words of pain, disappointment, and frustration, while damaging a page in a book. They can rip up the page or scribble on it to get the voice out of their head. Give the lie to the paper and then fully damage it!”

Screw you Satan is a journal for teens and adults to get negative thoughts that plague their minds, out of their brains, while discovering the truth that God says about them. It is a journal that can be used in times of anxiety, stress, overwhelm and also when one just wants to connect with the love that God has for them.
Dr. Brian Schrader
Dr. Brain Schrader, Upper School Bible Teacher and NLA Bible Department Head has published four books, with two more on the horizon! With experience as a Youth Pastor and Bible Teacher for 34 years, Schrader has immense biblical knowledge and a deep understanding of Additionally, Dr. Schrader holds a PhD in Youth Ministry and a ThD in Theology.

Luke Boström
Luke Boström, Upper School Bible Teacher and Associate Pastor at New Life Church, published a child dedication book for children to keep throughout their lives as a reminder that their parent’s dedicated them to God. His vision is to have churches everywhere gift this book to the parents of newly dedicated children as a sign of partnering with them to help raise up a new generation according to the gospel.
Boström shared, “As a parent of two young girls and a theologically trained pastor, I felt a burden to write this book in such a way that I would be proud to gift it to my own children.”
