You may have noticed some new pins showing up on backpacks, lanyards, and around the New Life campus. That’s because we’re kicking off a brand-new way to celebrate our 50th anniversary!
Throughout the year, we’ll be releasing a collection of custom New Life pins inspired by our history, traditions, people, and community. Some will be given away, some will be available for purchase, and all of them are meant to be collected and traded. Every pin will have a story behind it. Some will celebrate favorite New Life traditions. Others will look back at moments or people from our history. Together, they’re a fun way to celebrate 50 years of New Life and the people and stories that have made it what it is today.
We’re starting the year off with four different pin designs, with each student and staff member receiving one. The rollout is staggered, so if you haven’t received yours yet, don’t worry—it’s coming very soon!
Once everyone has received their first free pin, the fun really begins. Trade with friends, classmates, teachers, or coworkers to see if you can collect all four. Starting Friday, September 4, you’ll also be able to purchase any of the first four pins in the School Store while supplies last.
These first four pin designs are just the beginning. We’ll be releasing one new pin every month throughout our anniversary year. While each one will be available for purchase in the School Store, there may be other ways to get your hands on one, too. So keep an eye out for each new release. Students, stay tuned. Later this year, we’re excited to launch a student pin design contest, and the winning design will become an official anniversary pin!
