New Life Academy Community Partnerships help advance the mission of NLA by supporting existing initiatives and much-needed programming as well as providing a space for new ideas and innovation. Service Projects
NLA students are prepared in the classroom for their future, but equally important is that graduating students are ready to serve to live out their faith in God by loving others outside the classroom. We are constantly looking for service project opportunities for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Middle and high school students are required to complete service hours each year and need projects that embrace and promote NLA values so they can make an impact on the world for Jesus Christ.
Community Advisors
Community Advisors serve as experienced individuals in the community who will be able to give directions and advise students in their academic courses, community groups, clubs, extracurricular activities, career exploration, and/or Upper School IMPACT Hour projects.
Internship Business Partner
The NLA Internship Program provides unique opportunities for students to earn credit on their transcripts by working as an intern in the community. Our Internship Business Partners work with NLA to create opportunities for students to learn about different career industries, network with experts in the field, develop necessary soft skills, and mentor the students in their career exploration.
Career Snapshots
To help students get clarity while choosing what their next step may be after high school, New Life Academy provides career snapshots. Career Snapshots are off-campus experiences where students will be able to tour companies’ facilities, listen to presentations of experts in various fields, be given opportunities for Q&A conversations, and have an experience that gives insight into a career field of their interest.
